This genuine OEM Bissell wand release latch with spring fits the 2920 and related models. The spring loads the latch that holds the wand in place, giving it the tension needed to lock securely and release cleanly when you pull the wand free.
A broken or stretched spring lets the latch lose grip, so the wand may fail to lock, pop loose, or refuse to release at the right moment.
