ProHeat and Power Steamer deep cleaners drive their brush roll off a toothed belt, and part 0150621 is that belt. Unlike a flat belt it does not creep its way out of time; when it fails it cracks or loses teeth, and the brush roll simply stops turning while the pump and the suction carry on as normal.
The tell is a machine that still sprays and still pulls water back but leaves the carpet barely groomed. No agitation means no scrubbing, so traffic lanes stay gray no matter how many passes you make. Some owners hear a light ticking from the belt area first.
