This genuine OEM Bissell filter case holds the filter in place on the 68C7 bagless vacuum and related models, keeping it seated in the airstream. It fits the Bissell 1240, 12B1, 98N4, 12401, 12406, 1240R, 1240U, 1240V, and 1240W, along with the Eureka SL4410A and Sanitaire SL4410A.
When the case cracks or warps, air slips past the filter instead of through it, so dust reaches the motor and exhaust quality drops. A poor seal also lets the filter shift out of position during use. A sound case restores full filtration and protects the motor.
