The flow indicator on a Bissell ProHeat ClearView is the clear window that shows solution moving through to the floor, and part 2100489 is the base it sits in. It comes with its O-ring, which is usually the reason the base is being replaced in the first place.
Once the O-ring hardens or the base cracks, solution weeps out at the joint instead of going down the hose. You see it as a dribble inside the body of the machine, a drop in spray pressure at the trigger, or wet carpet in the wrong place. The leak also lets air into the line, which makes the indicator read oddly even when the pump is perfectly healthy.
It fits the ProHeat and ClearView PowerSteamer 1620, 1697, 1698, 1699-1, 7901, 7920, 7950, 8804, 8905 and 8910.
