Ordering the right axle for a 370 matters, because SEBO lists two of them. Part 2525 is the plain axle covered by this listing, while the pile adjustment shaft carries its own number, 2524. Both are used on the SEBO ELECTRONIC 370, and neither substitutes for the other.

An axle takes constant rotational load plus the occasional shock every time the machine is dragged over a threshold or bumped down a step. Wear concentrates where the shaft runs in its bearing faces, and it shows up as a wobble, a knock over hard floors, or components that no longer sit square on the shaft and start to run untrue. Once that happens the wear stops being confined to the axle: whatever it carries begins to wear at an angle, and a small part turns into a more involved repair.
