This replacement rotating fan (Part #31417) is the impeller for the Ametek Lamb 116508-00 motor and also fits the 117507-13 motor. The fan drives airflow through the motor stages and must run true for the motor to reach full suction.
A chipped or cracked fan loses airflow and sets up vibration that wears the bearings over time, so suction drops and the motor grows noisy. A sound, balanced fan restores full airflow and smooth operation across both motor variants.
