This OEM rotating fan (Part #31281) is the impeller for the Ametek Lamb 114787, 114789, and 114922 series, and it also fits the 115218, 115219, and 115419. The fan spins at high speed to generate the pressure difference that pulls dirt into the machine.
When the original fan chips, cracks, or wears, airflow falls off and the imbalance sets up vibration that can damage the motor over time. Fitting a sound fan restores full suction and returns the motor to smooth operation.
