Fitted to the Beam 2376 power unit, part 110356 is the 11-inch filter that keeps fine dust from reaching the motor. It sits in the canister so that everything drawn in from the wall inlets passes through it first.
Filters do not usually announce themselves. Suction falls away gradually across weeks, the exhaust picks up a stale, dusty smell, and the motor works harder for the same result. Three to six months is a typical service life in a house that runs its central vacuum regularly; homes with pets or a renovation underway get through them faster.
Changing it is tool-free: open the canister, lift the old filter out, drop the new one in. Confirm your Beam unit is the 2376 before ordering, as the 11-inch size is not shared across the whole range.
