The Windsor SR-12 bearing block (Part #5287BLU) is the blue non-belt-side bearing support for the SR-12 commercial upright. It carries one end of the brush roller and holds it in proper alignment as it spins. This is the block on the side opposite the drive belt, and a gray alternate is available as part #SB5031TK.
When the bearing block wears out, the brush roller tilts and wobbles, making uneven contact with the carpet and running noisily. That means poor cleaning on one side and faster wear on the roller itself. A fresh bearing block restores level, quiet brush-roller rotation.
