Part 10.1063-300 is the neck release pedal for the Wessel Werk EBK340 power nozzle, also listed for the Wessel Werk 6242. Step on it and the nozzle neck unlocks, letting the head drop flat so the vacuum can be run under a bed or a low sofa.
It is one of the most-used parts on any power nozzle and one of the first to break. The plastic fails at the pivot or the return spring loses its snap, and from then on the neck either stays locked upright, meaning no low-reach cleaning at all, or refuses to lock, so the head flops as you push it.
A new pedal restores the crisp lock-and-release action the nozzle left the factory with. It fits in place of the original, and it is worth checking the pivot bore and spring seat for wear while the old one is out.
