This washable Dyson DC24 pre-filter fits the DC24 Animal, Blueprint Limited Edition, Multi Floor, and Multi Floor Exclusive, replacing Dyson parts 918976-01 and 913788-01. Measuring 5 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick, it seats before the motor to catch fine dust that clears the cyclone stage.

A dust-choked pre-filter restricts airflow and lets the motor run hot, which erodes suction. Cleaning or swapping the filter reopens airflow and shields the motor from the debris that would otherwise reach it.
