This gray and white wand, part 5500-2, is the rigid tube that links the hose to the floor and dusting tools on Electrolux 6500, Epic and Guardian canisters. It carries the machine's full airflow and sets your working height, so above-floor jobs depend on it locking straight and sealing at both ends.

Wands take abuse. A dent from a stair edge, a hairline crack at the tool end or a stretched locking collar all show up the same way: the tool wobbles or drops off, and suction at the nozzle falls even though the motor sounds no different. Air leaking in at a split joint costs more pull than most people expect.

It also fits the Electrolux 1910. Seat each end fully so the catch engages before you start cleaning.
