The vacuum exhaust filter cover (Part #440002715) is a replacement cover that encloses the exhaust filter on your vacuum and channels filtered air out of the machine. It also holds the filter firmly seated in its housing during operation.
A cracked or ill-fitting cover lets air bypass the filter, so fine dust can slip back into the room and the filter can shift out of position. Fitting the correct cover restores a sealed exhaust path and keeps filtration working the way it should.
