The vacuum cord reel assembly (Part #440003091) is a replacement reel that winds the power cord into the machine and feeds it back out for tidy, convenient storage. The wound spring inside pulls the cord in automatically when you release it.
When the retraction spring breaks or the cord sticks and no longer pulls back in fully, storing the vacuum becomes awkward and a trailing cord turns into a tripping hazard. A fresh cord reel restores automatic, dependable retraction.
