The universal start elbow is a short 90° white PVC fitting used at the beginning of an inlet run, where the pipe first turns away from the wall inlet. Its compact 2 x 3 in. body fits into tight wall cavities where a full-size sweep will not sit.

It connects standard 2 in. central vacuum pipe to the back of a wall inlet and works with Decovac and Vaculine inlets on any standard installation.
