This V-style drive belt replaces the worn belt in Hoover Power Drive WindTunnel upright vacuums, carrying motor torque to the brush roll for steady agitation. The V profile seats into the pulley groove, which grips more positively than a flat belt and resists the slip that develops as belts age.
A stretched or cracked V-belt lets the brush roll lose speed or stop turning altogether, and carpet cleaning falls off even while the motor runs. Fitting the correct replacement restores full brush rotation, consistent tension, and effective pickup between service intervals.
