The Panasonic Upper Agitator Holder is a nozzle housing part for MC-655 and MC-658 series upright vacuums. It secures the brush roll in position and maintains the air seal across the nozzle, and both jobs are essential to how well an upright actually cleans carpet.
When this holder cracks or wears, the brush roll can shift and the seal opens up. The result is a vacuum that sounds fine but leaves debris behind, and because the symptom looks like a suction problem, this part is easy to overlook during troubleshooting.
The holder fits the MC-655 and MC-658 along with other similar Panasonic uprights, including the 7010. Replacing it restores solid brush roll engagement and full cleaning performance right at the floor, where it counts.
