Finished in black, this replacement Hayden Vac-U-Sweep trim plate (Part #845601BLK) fits the Hayden 0686 central vacuum sweep inlet. The plate is the visible faceplate that surrounds the floor-level sweep opening, framing the port where you sweep debris directly into the central vacuum piping.
A trim plate that has cracked, warped, or pulled away from the wall leaves the opening looking unfinished and can let the mounting screws show. Fitting a fresh black plate covers the hardware again and gives the sweep inlet a clean, deliberate appearance.
