This genuine OEM T-latch fits the Titan TCS-5525 and TCS-8575 central vacuum power units. It secures the canister or dirt bin section closed so the system holds its seal.
A worn or broken latch will not hold the unit shut, which breaks the seal and can let the bin drop open or leak air. A fresh OEM latch restores a firm, secure closure so the system runs at full power.
