This genuine OEM Titan nozzle cover fits the T8000 and TCS973 power nozzles. The cover closes over the top of the nozzle and helps hold the internal parts in alignment.

A cracked or warped cover lets the nozzle flex, which can throw off brush roll alignment and cause vibration or noise as you clean. Broken tabs may also stop the cover from seating tightly. A sound cover restores the nozzle's structure and quiet operation.
