This OEM Titan foam secondary filter (Part #591004112) fits the Titan T9000, T9200, T9400, and T9500 canister vacuums. It sits in the airflow path as a secondary stage, catching fine dust that slips past the bag before air reaches the motor.
A foam filter that has gone gray and saturated chokes airflow and forces the motor to work harder, which shows up as weak suction and a warmer-running machine. Swapping in a clean filter lets the vacuum breathe and protects the motor from grit.
