This replacement thermal reset switch (Part #B603-3300B) protects the motor on the Riccar R25S, R25D, and R25P uprights and ships with mounting screws and a fresh adhesive pad. The switch cuts motor power automatically when temperatures climb too high.
If a thermal reset fails, the vacuum may shut off repeatedly during normal use or, worse, lose its overheat protection entirely. Age and repeated tripping wear the switch until it no longer resets cleanly. A new one restores dependable thermal protection.
