This compatible replacement thermal reset switch (Part #B603-3400) provides overheat protection for the Riccar R25, R25P, and R25S uprights. It monitors motor temperature and interrupts power before heat can damage the windings.
A vacuum that runs briefly and then shuts off again and again often has a failing thermal reset. As the switch ages it trips early or stops resetting, cutting sessions short. Installing a sound switch restores steady running and reliable protection during longer cleaning.
