This new-style replacement suction inlet fits the Fuller Brush 076 upright. The inlet forms part of the sealed airflow path where suction enters the machine, and it seats against the housing to keep that path tight and directed.
A cracked or damaged inlet opens air leaks that cause rattling and reduce cleaning performance, since suction escapes before it reaches the nozzle. A sound inlet reseals the airflow path so all the vacuum's draw is directed through the cleaning route for maximum pickup.
