The Plastiflex SV8062 stop coupling is a 2 inch central vacuum fitting that joins any two pieces of 2 inch outside diameter vacuum pipe end to end. The internal stop is the useful part: it prevents either pipe from sliding through the coupling, so both ends seat to the correct depth and stay properly aligned.
Couplings show up constantly in central vacuum work, whether extending a straight run, repairing a damaged section, or tying new pipe into an existing network. Each one is also a potential leak point, so cement the joints carefully; airtight connections are what keep suction consistent at every inlet in the system.
This coupling is also listed under part numbers 765529W and 765528W. It fits the standard 2 inch OD central vacuum pipe used in most residential installations.
