This replacement primary filter fits Bissell 3-in-1 stick vacuums, including the 38B1 and 1059 series, and measures 3 inches. It is also sold as part #2037423. The filter traps dust and debris in the airflow path to hold suction and protect the motor.
As the primary filter loads with fine dust its airflow falls, and a clogged filter is the usual reason these compact stick vacuums stop picking up. A saturated filter also lets finer dust reach the motor. Swapping in a fresh filter restores airflow and clean exhaust.
