This genuine Sanitaire red outer cloth bag holds ST-type paper bags and fits the Sanitaire SC883 and SC888 uprights, along with SC678A, SC688A, EC883A, SC888M, SC888N, and SC895. A double zipper opens the bag for easy access to the inner paper bag, and two screws fasten the cloth securely in place.
Over time the fabric develops tears, worn zippers, or clogged pores that let dust escape and weaken suction. Replacing the outer cloth bag when it no longer seals restores clean airflow and keeps the machine filtering as designed.
