This genuine Rexair Rainbow squeegee sponge attachment (Part #R15212) works with the RainJet and squeegee tools to clean bare floors. The soft sponge sits in the tool and holds moisture for wiping sealed hard-surface flooring.
Sponges compress, tear, and stop absorbing after repeated use, which leaves streaks and standing water behind instead of a clean wipe. A worn sponge also drags grit across the floor. Fitting a fresh genuine sponge restores even absorption for light to medium jobs that do not call for heavy scrubbing.
