This compatible replacement cartridge filter (Part #9032833) fits Shop-Vac wet/dry vacuums and also works with Ridgid tanks, measuring about three inches. The pleated cartridge traps fine dust during dry pickup and lets liquid pass during wet use.
A clogged or split filter lowers suction and lets dust escape into the exhaust, making the vacuum labor for weaker results. Cleaning or replacing the cartridge restores full airflow and keeps the exhaust clear.
