Each piece covers a different point along the air path. The bag takes the debris. The microfilter behind it catches the fine dust that paper lets through and protects the motor. The exhaust filter cleans the air on its way back out. The sealing strip keeps the bag compartment properly closed, and it is the one people forget: once the strip hardens, air finds a way around the bag rather than through it, and the machine loses suction with a perfectly good bag fitted. Renewing the set together resets the whole path in one service rather than in four separate orders.

Work through the bags at the pace the machine sets, then change both filters and the strip as the last bag goes in. That rhythm keeps a SEBO AUTOMATIC X1, X2, X4, X4 Boost or X5 at full airflow instead of letting it drift down by a few percent each month.
