Water Separator with Nut - Sirena S10NA Canister

The separator is the heart of a Sirena's water filtration. It mounts to the bottom end of the motor and spins at high speed, flinging incoming dirt into the water basin so almost nothing reaches the motor itself. Because it does that work continuously, it is a wear part rather than a fixture.

Replace it when suction drops without an obvious blockage, when the machine develops a rattle or an unfamiliar whine, or when you can see cracking, chipping or warping on the separator. An out-of-balance separator will take the motor bearings with it if it is left in service.

This is the genuine Sirena separator, part S10NASEP, listed here as 10B and supplied with its mounting nut for the Sirena S10NA bagless water filtration canister. On a machine used every day, a spare on the shelf is cheap insurance.
