This compatible replacement secondary filter measures 6.5 by 3-3/4 inches and fits Riccar upright vacuums. Placed after the bag, it captures fine dust that gets past the primary stage, protecting the motor and helping keep the exhaust air clean. Clean secondary filtration is part of what keeps suction strong over time.
A filter that is discolored, damaged, or clogged with fine dust makes the motor work harder and lets more dust reach the exhaust. Left in place, it drags down cleaning performance and can shorten motor life. A fresh filter restores proper airflow and particle capture.
