This CF-2 secondary motor safety filter replaces the foam filter that mounts under the dust bag or cyclone dust can on Kenmore uprights. It measures 5.1 by 2.5 by 0.3 inches, replaces part numbers 4370432 and 86884, and fits models including 116.31612100, 116.32212200, 116.33612300, 116.38512, 116.39512, 116.30712000, and many more.

A clogged motor filter restricts airflow, weakens suction, and can let the motor overheat. Cleaning or replacing it on a regular schedule keeps suction at its peak and protects the motor from damage.
