This compatible replacement secondary filter measures 11 inches and fits the Nutone CV353 central vacuum. It provides a second stage of filtration, catching fine particles that slip past the primary filter before air passes on through the system.
As the secondary filter loads with fine dust it restricts airflow through the power unit, and that shows up as weak suction at every wall inlet in the house. A clogged or damaged filter also lets fine grit reach the motor. A fresh filter restores whole-house suction and protects the unit.
