SEBO MultiCare Brush Roller for the BALANCE A1

Both rollers turn inside the power brush 95030AM, which the drawing shows at position 15, running against the right-hand bearing block 8802AM at position 7. Their job is mechanical rather than pneumatic: bristles knock grit loose and lift hair out of the pile so the airflow behind them has something to carry away. A roller past its working life still spins and still sounds correct, which is what makes the wear easy to miss — the giveaway is that a second pass over the same patch of carpet keeps producing dirt.

Check the ends for wound hair whenever the roller is out, because a bound end loads the bearing block long before the bristles themselves give up.

A roller wears from two directions at once. Bristle tips shorten against the floor, and hair binds at the ends and works its way toward the bearing.
