SEBO Foot Pedal for CE12 SOFTCASE — Orange

Foot controls take boot treads, thresholds and the corner of every doorway they are dragged through, so on a machine that works for a living they are usually the first moulding to give out. 75062OR is SEBO's replacement pedal for the CE12 SOFTCASE.

The OR suffix marks SEBO's orange trim, and on this machine orange is used sparingly. The pedal 75062OR and the power button 75061OR are the two orange-suffixed controls, with the air channel cover 75120SE listed as gray black with orange. Everything structural around them carries GS for gray black. A CE12 that looks entirely gray at a glance still takes orange numbers for these controls, which is worth knowing before you go hunting for a gray version of this pedal.

Around it on the SOFTCASE CE12 parts list run the machine's other underfoot and height-setting pieces, each with its own number: the height adjustment slider 75086, the support lever 75122, the pile adjustment axle 75095 and the axle bracket 75075ER. None of them is supplied with the pedal, and the pedal is not supplied with any of them.

Order a new one once the pedal has snapped at its hinge, stopped springing back, or lost an edge so a foot slides off it. A pedal broken at the pivot leaves an exposed edge that collects further damage each time the machine is moved, and it puts you on your knees to work a control that should be operated standing. One more ordering note: a different pedal number, 2937OR, turns up on other SEBO parts sheets and is not this part.
