SEBO Dust Container with Lid for BALANCE A1

Everything the BALANCE A1 lifts off the floor ends up in this bin. Part 8801AM is the dust container for that cordless machine and it arrives with its lid, so a split bin and a lid that no longer sits square are settled by one order instead of two.

Where it sits in the airway is worth knowing before you buy. Debris leaves the power brush at position 15 or comes down the suction tube at position 9, drops into the container, and the cyclone unit at position 4 (part 8820AM) spins the heavier material out of the moving air before what remains meets the pair of motor protection filters supplied as set 8850AM at position 3 and reaches the suction unit at position 1. The container is the first stop on that run and the only part of it you handle daily.

Daily handling is exactly why it wears. Emptying, knocking the bin against the rim of a trash can and the occasional drop onto tile put stress into the wall and the lid hinge. A hairline split or a lid that has lost its square lets fine dust puff back out at the moment you tip it, and the joint against the cyclone stops being airtight, which quietly costs pickup. If suction has faded but the bin is sound, look at 8850AM and 8820AM before you replace the container.
