Handed parts catch people out, and this is one of them. 75114GS is the right-hand bearing block for the SOFTCASE CE12, shown at position 143 on SEBO's parts list, and it mirrors rather than matches the left-hand block 75113 at position 150. Order two of the same number and the roller will not seat.

What the block does is simple and constant: it carries the roller at the right of the nozzle and keeps it spinning true across the width of the nozzle. Every strand of hair wrapped around the roller end, every gritty carpet, and every hour of running works against the bearing surface. When it goes, the roller runs with a rumble, the brush strip wears unevenly across its length, and the belt starts tracking off centre because one end of the roller is no longer where the other end expects it to be.
