DIN 7981 is the standard behind this pan head tapping screw, and 0103ER supplies it ten to a pack in the 3.9 mm gauge, 16 mm long, that runs right through the SEBO upright range. Length is the only thing separating it from the near-identical numbers around it in the parts list: 0104 is the 25 mm screw, 0105 the 19 mm and 0107 the slimmer 2.9 mm fastener.
A tapping screw forms its own thread the first time it is driven home. Repeat that in the same plastic boss often enough and the walls give up, at which point the head keeps turning without ever drawing the panel down. New screws with sharp threads are the easy half of putting that right; the awkward half is a cracked boss, which is what happens when somebody reaches for a thicker screw to take up the slack. Run these in by hand or on a low clutch setting. A tapping screw wants to be driven until the head just meets the surface, and the last fraction of a turn on a power tool is what tears the thread out of the boss it has only just formed.
