This OEM power switch fits the Sanitaire SC535A canister and related models, controlling the on/off circuit to the motor. It mounts in the canister housing where you toggle the machine.
A switch with worn internal contacts can cut power in and out or leave the vacuum dead when you flip it on. A faulty switch is a common failure point on these commercial-grade canisters, and replacing it is far simpler than troubleshooting the motor. Installing a fresh switch restores dependable, positive on/off control.
