This compatible replacement geared belt (Part #6323-01-X) fits the Shark Rocket and similar models. The geared belt links the motor to the brush roll, driving the bristles that agitate carpet and lift embedded dirt.

Belts stretch and harden with use, and a slipping or snapped belt lets the brush roll stall even while the motor runs. A burning rubber smell or a roller that will not turn signals a failed belt. Replacing it returns positive drive to the brush roll and restores cleaning performance.
