This Royal upright vacuum button extension, part 1460040000, restores a comfortable, accessible press point for the controls on your Royal vacuum. When the original button breaks off flush with the housing, the switch underneath usually still works, but you cannot engage it without prying at the recess with a tool, which is no way to run a vacuum.
The extension returns the button to its proper height so the control operates with a normal press of a finger. It is a small part, but it is the difference between a machine that is annoying to use and one that works exactly as designed.
Part 1460040000 fits Royal models 4600, 4650, 4700, and 4750. Check your model number before ordering, and if your machine is not listed but the button looks identical, contact us and we will confirm the fit.
