This replacement motor adjustment ring fits Eureka and Sanitaire uprights and sets the motor's position for correct belt tension and brush-roll operation. The ring holds the motor aligned so the drive belt runs at the right tension.
A worn or cracked ring lets the motor drift out of position, which slackens the belt and can leave the brush roll spinning slowly or unevenly. Fitting a fresh ring restores proper alignment and belt tension.
