This genuine OEM Rexair-Rainbow left-hand lens (Part #R2685) fits the D-4C and also serves the D3 and D4. The lens is the clear cover on the left side of the nozzle that lets the indicator light show through while shielding it.
A lens can cloud, crack, or fall out with age and impact, leaving the indicator hard to read or the opening exposed. A missing lens lets dust reach the light behind it. Fitting the correct left-hand lens restores a clear window and protects the light beneath it.
