This genuine OEM Rexair-Rainbow applique (Part #R1994) fits the D-3C power nozzle and the 7406. The applique is the fitted trim piece on the nozzle housing that covers and finishes the surface. It is also cataloged as part #79-7406-77.
Over years of use an applique cracks, fades, or peels at the edges, exposing the housing beneath and leaving the nozzle looking worn. A lifting applique can also snag on furniture and baseboards. Fitting the correct piece restores a clean, finished surface and protects the housing.
