This replacement shampoo tank cap (Part #308901) fits the Kirby rug renovator and shampoo system on the Generation 3, Generation 4, Generation 5, Generation 6, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, and Sentria. The cap seals the top of the solution tank while you shampoo.
A cracked, warped, or missing cap lets cleaning solution slosh and leak out of the tank, which makes carpet shampooing messy or impossible and wastes solution. Fitting a sound cap seals the tank again and keeps solution where it belongs until it reaches the foam head.
