This replacement Panasonic rear cover fits the MC-V9635 power nozzle. The cover closes the back of the nozzle housing, keeping the brush roll area enclosed and helping maintain the air seal that directs suction across the floor.
A rear cover that has cracked or broken away opens the housing to debris and can bleed off the seal that keeps suction concentrated at the nozzle, which noticeably reduces pickup. Fitting a fresh cover closes the housing back up and restores the sealed airflow the nozzle depends on.
