This left-hand applique (Part #R1729) mounts on the left side of your Rainbow D3 housing and fits the Rainbow/Rexair D3. It is an OEM-matching trim piece that finishes the exterior and covers the surface beneath it.
If the original applique has fallen off or cracked, the housing looks unfinished and the bare surface underneath is left exposed. That is purely cosmetic, but on a machine kept for years it stands out. This OEM-matching replacement restores the original factory appearance cleanly.
