SEBO Radiator Brush — Slim Fin Tool, Mounts on the Crevice Nozzle

Panel radiators collect a grey felt of dust down between their fins, and nothing with a normal profile will go in after it. The 1496GS brush is built narrow and long for exactly that channel. It slides over the end of a crevice nozzle, so the dust the bristles raise travels straight into the airstream instead of drifting back down the gap and settling again once the room is quiet.

The same shape suits several other places a hand cannot pass: down the back of a fitted bookcase, along a run of heating pipe, inside the gap behind a wall-mounted radiator, between the coils at the back of a fridge. Take it along the fins in slow strokes rather than fast ones, because the bristles need a moment to release what they have lifted. Dust that has been baked on by a season of heating comes away in more than one pass.

A crevice nozzle is required and sold separately, since the brush carries no cuff of its own — the crevice tools in the same SEBO range are listed under 1092GS, 1092JE, 1092SW and the extra-long 1093JV. Replace the radiator brush itself when the bristles splay out sideways or shed, as a splayed head sweeps the dust along the fin instead of bringing it up to the mouth of the nozzle.
