This quick connect nipple for Regina and Oreck steamers, part 09-53058-01, is the fitting that joins the water supply hose to the steamer unit. In good condition it makes a fast, leak-free connection. When the fitting cracks or its seal degrades, water drips at the connection point instead of reaching the steam head.
A leaking connector wastes water, puddles on the very floor you are trying to clean, and starves the machine of the supply it needs. A fresh nipple is a quick, inexpensive way to get a steamer back to full function without a service visit or a replacement machine.
This part fits Oreck models XLS465, XLS465Q, XLS700, and XLS700Q, and it also fits Regina 800 and 900 series steamers. Match the part number to be certain before you order.
